Dr. Cassar's journey into optometry was shaped by a childhood experience that planted the seed of his commitment to maintain and preserve every patient's visual quality of life.

A Childhood Insight:
Dr. Cassar's journey into optometry began in 4th grade when he first needed glasses. Reflecting on his childhood, he realized he may have needed correction even earlier, but the realization sparked a curiosity.

Educator and Advocate:
Driven by his childhood experience, Dr. Cassar studied genetics at Michigan State University. He then worked for 2 years before attending the Illinois College of Optometry. After optometry school, Dr. Cassar furthered his professional experience by completing a residency at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. There, he worked in the clinic and educated optometry students as a professor.

Kevin's mission extends beyond the walls of Complete Eye Health. He is an educator who empowers patients and their families with knowledge about eye health and practical strategies to enhance their vision and comfort. He actively works with his clinical manager, Catherine to implement new technologies and methods that help patients. His approach is rooted in compassion and understanding, ensuring that every patient feels cared for and supported in their eye health.

Dr. Cassar is also an active board member of the AAOMC where he specializes in staff education.

Preserving Vision, Protecting Futures:
At the heart of Kevin's practice is a commitment to preserving and protecting the precious gift of sight. Whether through routine exams, proactive interventions, or personalized treatment plans, he goes above and beyond to safeguard the eyesight of his patients, ensuring that they can continue to see the world clearly for years to come.

Bethany holds a BA in Marketing from Michigan State University and is dedicated to staff training, patient education and best practices in optometry.

When Bethany is not at the office, you'll find her reading, sipping a cherished cup of coffee at her favorite places in Holland or simply being outside in Michigan. You will also find her in the local dog parks with Lenny the Vizsla. She loves to travel and visit her kids with Kevin.

Catherine is dedicated to patient care and myopia control. She received her CMN certification in August 2024, and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (AAOMC).

You will find Catherine assisting Dr. Cassar in the clinic during your exam. She is also manages our clinic with Dr Cassar implementing new instruments and training clinical staff. She will celebrate 6 years at Complete Eye Health in July 2026!

She loves to bake and dance! When she is not at the office, she is doing something sweet or creative with her husband and three children.

Originally from Grand Rapids, Sydney graduated from Hope College in 2025 after studying Biology and Sociology.

She is interested in both science and the social systems that shape how we live and interact. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the beach, cooking and trying new foods, playing volleyball, and spending time with her two dogs.

Natalie joined Complete Eye Health in March 2025 and works closely alongside Dr. Cassar in the clinic, helping ensure each patient visit is smooth and welcoming.

She completed an early college program during high school and earned her Associate's degree in Arts and Science. In her free time, Natalie enjoys reading, watching crime shows, and has recently discovered a passion for baking. She also loves spending time outdoors, especially going for walks or visiting the park.

Kaitlin graduated high school in 2023 and is a Certified Myopia Navigator (CMN) and an active member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (AAOMC).

She enjoys interacting with patients and takes pride in helping others feel comfortable, supported, and informed throughout their care.

Outside of work, Kaitlin loves slowing down to watch the sunset, getting creative with junk journaling, playing with her dog Dallas, spending quality time with the people she loves, and happily diving into anything she can learn about sharks.

Bella is an optician and optometric technician with nearly nine years of experience in healthcare and a growing passion for the optical world.

Bella brings a friendly, thoughtful approach to every visit and loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident. She graduated from Ferris State University, where she studied Pre-Medicine/Biology with a minor in Psychology.

When she's not at work, she's usually spending time with her husband and her cat, Kiwi, with music playing in the background. She loves artists like Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, and SZA, enjoys getting creative with oil pastels and coloring, and always makes time for a good book. Sunshine is her favorite accessory, whether she's at the beach or just soaking up a warm day.

Christine holds a BA in Financial Management and works remotely from the Philippines.

She earned her CMN certificate in September 2025 and loves to travel, visit museums and galleries. She also loves to try local cuisine on her travels. She has a 10 year old dog and in her spare time likes to paint and build with miniature blocks.

Christine celebrated her year anniversary with Complete Eye Health in March 2026.
